A biomaterial applicator in dental surgery is an instrument designed to facilitate the application of biomaterials in periodontal, implant, regenerative, or other surgical procedures aimed at restoring or regenerating dental, bone, or gingival tissue.
This applicator is the perfect combo for your bone fillers. It features an applicator on one side and a ball on the other to gently compact your biomaterial.
In cases where there is bone deficiency (e.g., after tooth extraction or bone loss due to periodontal disease), the spoon part is used to take and apply biomaterials (bone substitutes, allografts, xenografts, etc.) and compact it, in the implantation site to promote bone regeneration.
